Specialists in food gardening with the Sonoma County Master Gardeners will hold a free workshop March 5 at the Windsor Regional Library on growing vegetables with less water.
Even though rainfall is up this year, water tables are not yet replenished after so many dry years. Learn how to be water smart and locate your garden in the best place, prepare the soil, select crops, irrigate, control pests, maintain the garden and more, all using water wisely. The workshop will include helpful handouts. 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. 9291 Old Redwood Highway, Bldg. 100. For more information, call 565-2608.
